Mama Tandi is my name, the ancestors gave it to me in my infant age. Lived with my family that I grew to understand the responsibility our linage holds to the community and world at large. Being a mganga is an honor in my family. And it comes with great rewards as well as challenges. But before all that power is entrusted to one, there is a gathering that you are tested for the worthy traits and rituals performed. Those found worthy get to carry on the tradition and responsibilities that come with traditional healing.
